Job Description:

Our client a leading micro finance institution is seeking for a highly motivated Sales Agent to join its team in the Microfinance Industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new customers who are seeking loans. The Sales Agent will work closely with the Marketing and Loan Processing departments to ensure a seamless and efficient loan application process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Actively seek out new customers who are interested in applying for loans
  Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers
• Develop and implement strategies to reach out to potential customers through phone calls, emails, social media and other forms of communication
• Provide information about the loan application process and answer any questions that customers may have
• Conduct customer needs assessments and identify loan products that best fit their needs
• Guide customers through the loan application process and ensure that all necessary documentation is completed accurately and efficiently
• Provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
  Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and other performance metrics

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in sales or customer service, preferably in the financial industry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong negotiation and persuasion skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of the microfinance industry and loan products is a plus
• Ability to meet or exceed sales targets and other performance metrics

Education:

• Malawi School Certificate of Education or equivalent
• Diploma in Business Administration or related field is preferred
