Lilongwe Handling Company Limited (LIHACO) is a wholly Malawi Government owned commercial entity established in 2000. The core business of the company is to provide Airport Ground Handling and Travel Services to airlines and the travelling public at Chileka and Kamuzu International Airports.
The Company is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following vacant positions at its Head office at Kamuzu International Airport and Chileka International Airport.

Purpose
To administer effective and efficient payroll processing services and ensure compliance
Main Duties
1. Ensuring all payroll transactions are processed efficiently
2. Collecting, calculating, and entering data in order to maintain and update payroll information
3. Compiling summaries of taxes, deductions, leave, among others and reporting on this.
4. Resolving payroll discrepancies
5. Maintaining payroll operations by following policies and procedures
6. Updating the payroll to include new staff or removing staff from the payroll.
7. Timely production and distribution of pay slips to all members of staff
8. Answering employee questions and complaints about payroll
Education Qualification
- Diploma in Accounting
Work Experience
- Prior experience as a Payroll Clerk, Payroll Officer or a similar role
- Experience with accounting software
- Ability to work with confidential information
