MEGA SIGNS AND MEDIA LTD is a leading Signage Manufacturing, Large format printing and Promotional Material, supplying company with office presence in Blantyre along Kenyatta Drive next to Kwik Fit and in Lilongwe Area 47, Sector 5 Opposite Africa Bible College Main Gate.

The business is looking to fill the following vacancy:

Safety and Compliance Officer

• Responsible for implementation of Safety and health Management for the business
• Supports development, administering and maintaining the Company’s SHEQ Management System’s documentation.
• Conducts risks assessments and draws up the appropriate risk control measures and processes in conjunction with General Manager.
• Coordinates investigations of accidents, incidents or complaints by employees to ensure that appropriate corrective action plans are effectively implemented.
• Reports the performance of the SHEQ Management System to Management for review and improvement of the system.
• Coordinates the Company’s both Internal and External SHEQ Management System audit activities and ensures that they are done in line with applicable requirements.
• Coordinates the establishment and effective implementation of Corrective Action Plans and strategies based on Audit findings and recommendations.

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering and any related field with adequate knowledge in SHEQ Management Systems.
