Mudi SACCO Ltd is looking for an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Risk and Compliance Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the risk and compliance framework across the organization, ensuring that we meet regulatory requirements and maintain the highest levels of ethical and professional conduct.
- Develop and implement the risk and compliance framework across the organization
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures
- Conduct risk assessments and identify areas of potential risk
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies
- Review and update the organization’s risk and compliance policies and procedures
- Provide regular reports on risk and compliance issues to senior management and the board of directors
- Conduct compliance training for staff and management.
Qualifications, Experience & Attributes:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Auditing, Finance or any related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in R & C, operations risk, etc in the financial services sector
- Ability to manipulate large amounts of data and to compile detailed reports
- Proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures.
- High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
- Sound independent judgment
- High performance attitude, resilience, honest and high integrity.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
