Blantyre District Council is inviting applications from suitably qualified persons of Malawian Origin to fill the following vacant positions:
Job Title: Revenue Collector
Grade: M/M10
Reporting to: Assistant Accountant (Grade K)
Location: Blantyre District Council Markets:
Lunzu, Mdeka, Muhura, Lirangwe,
Nkhalamba, Chadzunda, Chikuli.
Age: 21 to 40 years
Number of vacant Positions: 7
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Applicants must be in possession of Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) with four credits and at least pass in Mathematics.
- Those that are working as direct staff under Blantyre District Council will have an added advantage.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collecting market fees
- Remitting funds to revenue collector
- Suggesting area of improvements in order to enhance revenue collection
- Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
