AFIDEP is a regional non-profit research and policy Institute whose mission is to institutionalise a culture of consistent use of evidence in public policy formulation and implementation to address various development challenges in Africa.
AFIDEP is looking for a Resource Mobilisation Officer (Malawi) to support the coordination and delivery of all the institutional resource mobilisation efforts. The role will involve working collaboratively with the Business Development Department, focus areas and programmes, policy engagement and communications, finance, grants, administration, human resources, and monitoring and evaluation teams across the Organization. Among others, the candidate will be responsible for mapping opportunities for strategic partnerships; coordinating engagement with potential funders and partners; coordinating and contributing to proposal development; contributing to continuous improvement of the Department’s strategies, processes, and procedures; supporting monitoring, evaluation, and reporting, and contributing to institutional brand building activities.
The successful candidate will have a University Degree in Social Sciences, Humanities, International Development, Communications or other relevant disciplines with over five years of demonstrable experience in a similar position. Those with a Master’s degree will have an added advantage.
