The Malawi Assemblies of God University (MAGU), an affiliate of the Malawi Assemblies of God was established to provide a high level system of education driven by strong Christian values and standards. The University is registered, recognized and accredited by Malawi Government through National Council for Higher Education (NCHE). MAGU is urgently seeking to fill the following vacant positions:
POSITION: Research Coordinator
DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
PhD in the relevant field or its equivalent obtained from accredited institutions Demonstrated leadership to a highly professional group and growing institution.
EXPERIENCE AND OTHER ATTRIBUTES
- Minimum of 2years experience and or other Relevant Experience such as Research or Engagement in the relevant profession
- Proven experience in research management and leadership, preferably in a related industry Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with a track record of producing high-quality research outputs Practicing Christian
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
a) Develop and execute comprehensive research plans aligned with organizational goals and objectives
b) Define research methodologies, data collection strategies, and analysis frameworks to ensure robust and insightful outcomes
c) Collaborate with stakeholders to identify key research areas and prioritize projects accordingly
d) Supervise and lead a team of researchers, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations
e) Foster a collaborative and innovative research environment, encouraging continuous learning and professional growth
f) Allocate resources effectively, manage workload, and ensure deadlines are met
g) Direct research projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
