RECEPTIONISTS
Duties and Responsibilities
- Checking departures, arrivals, late checkouts and VIPs report.
- Checking mode of payment for every guest.
- Checking arrivals list to anticipate guest needs and preferences.
- Preparing for group arrivals by preprinting registration cards and arranging a special checking in desk.
- Handling guest complaints.
- Attending to guests timely.
- Any other duties as assigned from time to time.
Knowledge, Skills, Competences and Attributes desired:
- Certificate in Front Office Operations from any institution recognized by NCHE.
- A full Malawi School Certificate of Education with credit in English.
- 2-years’ experience in a similar position.
- Customer service skills.
- Thorough and pay attention to detail character.
- Patience and ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to understand people’s reactions.
