National Construction Industry Council

The National Construction Industry Council (NCIC) was created by the Malawi Government
through an Act of Parliament (Cap 53:05) of the Laws of Malawi to regulate, promote and develop
the construction industry in Malawi.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the following vacant positions:


Tenable at the National Construction Industry Council Headquarters, the position is on permanent and pensionable terms.

Under the supervision of the Human Resources & Administration Officer, specifically, the Receptionist shall be responsible for the following duties:

  • Managing the Reception
  • Managing the switchboard
  • Receiving visitors and assisting them accordingly
  • Managing both incoming and outgoing mail
  • Photocopying and binding documents
  • Assisting Secretaries in typing letters and documents.
  • Monitoring the circulation of newspapers and filing them for future reference


This position requires a mature, well knowledgeable, dedicated, and dependable person.
The successful candidate should:

  • Be aged 25 years and above.
  • Be a holder of a full Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE)
  • Have a minimum of two years working experience in a busy working environment.
  • Be Computer literate in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Access
  • Have self-drive, excellent communication, people skills, and have a good team working
  • Be able to work with minimum supervision and sometimes at odd hours.
