Receptionist (Zomba)
Key Responsibilities:
WE ARE HIRING!
The receptionist will greet and welcome guests, manage check-ins and check-outs, answer calls and emails, handle inquiries about the lodge’s facilities and services, make and manage reservations, process payments, and issue invoices. They will maintain a clean reception area, assist with administrative tasks, and handle guest complaints professionally.
Qualifications and requirements
- A Certificate/Diploma in hospitality or equivalent is required; additional education or training in hospitality is a plus.
- Proven experience as a receptionist, front desk representative, or similar role in the hospitality industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and handle stressful situations calmly and efficiently. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to guest service.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
