VACANCY
Holy Family Mission Hospital (HFMH) is under Christian Health Association of Malawi (CHAM) under the Archdiocese of Blantyre of the Roman Catholic Church. It is situated in Phalombe district. Applications from suitably qualified persons to fill the vacant positions below are being invited:
Job Title: Radiographer
Reporting to: Senior Radiographer
Duties
i. Receiving and guiding X-Ray clients
ii. Taking X-Ray pictures on patients
iii. Checking and replacing chemicals for dark room tank
iv. Processing and developing X-Ray pictures
v. Ordering items for use in X-Ray department
vi. Preparing chemicals for use in X-Ray department
vii. Scanning patients using Ultra Sound equipment
viii. Filling X-Rays for future reference
ix. Evaluating and monitoring quality of radiographs
x. Recording of data in relevant registers
xi. Any other duties that may be deem reasonable for the post.
Educational Qualification
Applicants must be in possession of a diploma in Radiography Technology obtained from a recognized University/institution.
Experience
Two (2) years relevant experience at Radiographer Technician level.
