Namadzi Bottlers, a division of Petroda Malawi Limited and part of the Tanzania-based Oilcom Group, is an affiliate of Watercom producing potable natural bottled water from Namadzi natural springs. The factory, located in Namadzi, along M3 Zomba road, aims to replicate the success of Watercom in Tanzania and become the fastest-growing water bottling company in Malawi, with a state-of-the-art production facility.

Role Description

This is an internship role for a Quality Control Laboratory Technician at Namadzi Bottlers in Zomba. The technician will be responsible for daily quality control tasks in the laboratory, ensuring the products meet standards and regulations. This is an on-site position that offers hands-on experience in a fast-growing bottling company.

• Laboratory Equipment and Laboratory Skills
• Quality Control and Analytical Skills
• Proficient in chemical engineering principles and applications
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
• Experience in quality assurance processes
• Attention to detail and accuracy in analysis
• Ability to follow procedures and protocols
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Background in Chemistry, Biology, or related field is a plus
• Basic knowledge of chemical safety and industry standards
