The Role

 

Oxfam in Malawi is currently working to support the people affected by the cyclone Freddy floods in Mangochi districts.  We are looking for results-oriented Malawian for the position of Public Health Promotion Officer position to be based in Mangochi to support the humanitarian response for a period up to October 2023 subject to extension depending on continuity of the program and availability of resources.  The successful candidates will work with communities to Promote Public Health Services, by assessing, planning and make recommendations in promotion of health programmes in conjunction within the team and across teams.

 

Applicants should have Diploma in Civil/Water Resource Engineering or water management as well 2 years of practical experience in WASH programmes with good communication, training and personal management skills.
