Applicants must have a minimum of a diploma in psycho-socio counselling from a credible institution. The applicants must also have at least 3 years’ experience in counselling. Those with a bachelor’s degree or higher in psychology,counselling or psychosocial counselling will have an added advantage.
DUTIES
- Providing individual,couples, and group psychotherapy services
- Providing crisis intervention,consultation and referral services for students and staff
- Administering and interpreting psychological assessments as warrranted
- Proving outreach programming on a variety of mental health topics to the campus community
- Facilitating various training programs related to counselling
- Liaison with relevant outside authorities (law enforcement, psychiatric services providers etc.)
