Centre for Environmental Policy and Advocacy (CEPA) is a nongovernmental organization that promotes sustainable environment and natural resources management. The organizations vision is a just and equitable society that promotes sustainable development. CEPA focuses on natural resources, biodiversity and climate change.
CEPA seeks to fill the following positions:
Duties and Responsibilities
- Planning, budgeting, monitoring and reporting on project activities;
- Facilitating research on land governance;
- Conducting public awareness on land governance instruments;
- Facilitating media interaction with communities on land governance;
- Mobilization and capacity building of local land governance structures;
- Liaising and building linkages with land related government institutions; traditional leaders and other stakeholders; and
Required Qualifications
- Graduate degree, preferably in land administration or related fields;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Demonstrated documentation, dissemination and management skills;
- Working knowledge in Government of Malawi policies and legislation related to land management;
- Ability to work in a team, manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines; and
- Preferably fluent in Tumbuka.
