Malawi Girl Guides Association (MAGGA) is a voluntary, non-political, non-religious and self-governing organization for girls and young women (3-39 years) committed to offering them opportunities to develop good character and become responsible and useful citizens of Malawi.:- MAGGA under the Tikwaniritse ndi Kuteteza ma Ufulu a Ana (TiKuMA)Programme seeks to fill four vacant positions. The vision of the programme is that all children enjoy their right to education and are protected through strong community and government systems by 2028. MAGGA is looking for qualified candidates to fill the following positions:

Project Coordinator

This position is tenable at MAGGA Secretariat Office in Lilongwe. The key responsibilities of the position include:

✓ At all times perform the duties of Projects Coordinator, for Malawi Girl Guides Association and such other duties assigned from time to time.
✓ Work in liaison with the Monitoring and Evaluation officer to ensure that data for all projects is well collected and reflected in reports
✓ Represent MAGGA at National and District based stakeholder engagements and maintain a positive and cordial relationship with donors and all stakeholders.
✓ Ensure that the operational performance standards of projects are consistent with project indicators and workplans
✓ Participate in the development of annual work plans according to MAGGA strategic plan and programme action plans
✓ Undertake day to day management of Project Officers and ensure that all projects under the programme are running smoothly and according to their workplans
✓ Management of the programme and activity budgets in close collaboration with the finance department and the Programmes Coordinator
✓ Ensure that cordial relationship is being maintained between program staff and volunteers at all the time.

✓ Write and review monthly project reports for submission to the Programmes Coordinator and Ensure that all advance reconciliations by Project Officers are done in time according to MAGGA financial policies
✓ Devote time, attention and ability as may be necessary for the proper performance of Programme Coordinator duties
✓ Faithfully and diligently perform those duties and exercise such powers consistent with them which are from time to time assigned to or vested in the position ✓ Always promote the best interest of MAGGA and the programme

Personal Qualifications And Skills

✓A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from reputable University in one of the following fields: ECD, Public policy, Political Science, Human rights, Social work, Education, or other relevant technical field.
✓A minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a similar position for a non-governmental Organization.
✓Strong knowledge on Child Safe guarding and Child Protection policies
✓Strong analytical and critical thinking skills in the areas of Human rights, Social protection and
