PROJECT ASSISTANT

The Opportunity

Save the Children is inviting applications from suitably qualified personnel to fill 3 positions of Project Assistant to be based in Zomba.

The role holder will play a very crucial role of providing support to all projects at the Area Office level and all satellite offices. He/she will particulary manage all the project administrative work like travel, meetings, trainings , security issues, maintenances, utility bills, office cleanliness, monthly reports, and payments.

In the event of a major humanitarian emergency, the role holder will be expected to work outside the normal role profile and be able to vary working hours accordingly.

In order to be successful, you will bring/have:

  • At least a Diploma in Business Management or a related field
  • More than 3 years experience in office and program management of logistics, accommodation and conference bookings.
  • Time Management and Organizational Skills
  • Adaptability and Stress Management Skills.
  • Computer skills.
  • Excellent Communication Skills.
  • Leadership and Problem Solving Skills
