INTRODUCTION
Nyale Institute for Sexual and Reproductive Health Governance (Nyale Institute), a non-governmental organization founded in 2013, is dedicated to advancing sexual and reproductive justice (SRJ) in Malawi through enhanced collaboration with the government and stakeholders. The Institute also promotes gender equality and social inclusion within its mission. Our offices are in Blantyre, Malawi. PROGRAMS MANAGER
Location: Blantyre
Reporting to: The Executive Director
Job Purpose:
The Programs Manager will oversee the design, implementation, and monitoring of Nyale Institute’s programs. This role also includes monitoring and evaluation (M&E) to ensure program effectiveness and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor the organization’s programs.
- Oversee programmatic activities, including ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Lead the monitoring and evaluation of all programs.
- Prepare program reports for donors and stakeholders.
- Ensure that programs align with the organization’s mission and strategic goals.
- Manage program staff and provide support in their professional development.
- Ensure programs are compliant with all relevant laws, policies, and donor requirements.
- Conduct field visits to assess the impact and effectiveness of programs.
Qualifications:
- A degree in social sciences, public health, law, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in program management, including M&E.
- Experience working in the sexual and reproductive health and rights field.
- Strong project management and analytical skills.
- Strong People Management skills.
- Ability to work with diverse stakeholders, including communities and donors.
- Experience with data collection and analysis.
