·        Support the Business Development Officers (BDO) in transitioning more Stove Production Groups (SPGs) into formal business entities. This includes capacity building in business practices such as invoicing, receipting, stock-taking, and securing business loans.

·        Identify and work with private sector individuals and cleaner cooking entrepreneurs for supply chain vertical integration, including warehousing and transportation.

·        Explore potential business development opportunities with new Improved Cook Stoves (ICS) and partnerships to increase stove sales.

·        Build partnerships with local and international NGOs, the Department of Forestry, Health Centers, and other institutions to expand ICS distribution networks countrywide.

·        Ensure compliance with Ministry of Health (MoH) and World Health Organisation (WHO) guidelines, particularly during public health outbreaks, ensuring staff hygiene and wellbeing.

·        Assist with administrative tasks including sending updated budgets for approval, preparing quarterly reports for donors, and audit preparation.

·        Support data collection for sales and procurement, compile and verify sales receipts, and submit reports for verification processes.

·        Aid BDOs with logistical preparations for activities, such as fuel uploads and timely fuel top-ups for fieldwork.

·        Maintain a database of all technologies sold by each sales agent and manage calendar updates for submissions to management and donors.

·        Ensure good communication flow between BDOs and the rest of the teams.

·        Assist BDOs with quick turnaround of reports submitted to accounts and the management office.

·        Provide additional support to the component as needed.

Requirements:

·        A degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Economics, Sustainable Development, Strategic Management, Marketing, or an equivalent field from a reputable institution. Master’s degree is appreciated.

·        Strong organizational and leadership skills.

·        At least 4 years’ practical experience in project management, business development, and stakeholder engagement.

·        Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

·        Knowledge of the renewable energy sector and community development practices.

·        Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
