The Malawi Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) is inviting applications from suitably : qualified and experienced candidates to fill vacant positions existing in its Programmes Directorate as follows:
PRODUCERS/PRESENTERS RADIO TWO FM – 3 POSITIONS
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Presents and produces programs
- Reads advertisements and weather forecasts verbatim
- Researches popular discourses and news stories
- Incorporates prerecorded advertisements organically
- Delivers traffic reports, news segments, and interviews vi. Hosts live draws and competitions
Qualifications, Experience & Attributes:
- Diploma in Journalism/Media Studies/Mass Communication from a reputable institution. A degree in relevant field will be an added advantage
- At least four years’ experience in radio production
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to generate original ideas
- Good research and interview skills
- Must have strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to keep up with industry trends in the media landscape
- Must have the ability to take initiative and make quick and effective decisions under pressure
