We specialize in collecting, sorting, cleaning, and processing plastic waste—primarily HDPE and PP—into high-quality recycled plastic pellets. Our mission is to replace the need for imported virgin plastic with sustainable, locally sourced alternatives while creating jobs and supporting environmental sustainability. Based in Blantyre, we work with waste collectors, manufacturers, and environmental partners to build a cleaner, greener Malawi.

Position: Procurement Supervisor

We’re looking for a proactive and trustworthy Procurement Supervisor to join our team in Blantyre. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing procurement operations and supporting basic financial and operational functions. This is a hands-on role in a growing company, ideal for someone who is highly organized, reliable, and passionate about making a positive impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and purchase materials and supplies, mainly plastic waste (HDPE & PP)
• Negotiate contracts and build strong relationships with suppliers and vendors
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure consistent supply
• Prepare and issue invoices; handle and track company funds
• Perform basic bookkeeping and simple math calculations
• Produce reports as needed for management and decision-making
• Supervise procurement operations and support coordination across departments
• Manage and lead a small team effectively under pressure

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in procurement, sourcing, and purchasing
• Familiarity with plastic materials, especially HDPE and PP
• Ability to handle money responsibly and keep accurate financial records
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Basic bookkeeping, invoicing, and math skills
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
• Leadership skills to manage and motivate a team
• Trustworthy, hardworking, responsible, and dedicated
• Prior experience in the recycling or manufacturing industry is a plus
