Local Government Service Commission is inviting applications from the suitably qualified Malawians for the following vacancies existing at Lilongwe District Council’s Establishment.
POST: PRINCIPAL FORESTRY OFFICER
GRADE: G
SALARY: Within the Grade G salary scale segment
LOCATION: Lilongwe District Council
QUALIFICATION:
Applicants must be serving Forestry Officers (Grade l) with a minimum of four (4) years’ experience at that grade and in possession of Bachelors Degree in Forestry from a recognized University Institution.
DUTIES:-
1. Produce package and disseminate forestry extension related information to the general public.
2. Promote and publicize the role of FRIM, MCFW and Forestry Department Headquarters in executing forestry related activities
3. Produce package and disseminate information on protection, management and development of plantations and forest reserves.
4. Planning, monitoring and control of financial resources
