Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Poultry Farm Manager located in Lilongwe. The Poultry Farm Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the poultry farm, including managing staff, ensuring animal welfare, coordinating feeding schedules, and maintaining health and safety standards. The manager will also be responsible for record-keeping, monitoring production, and implementing biosecurity measures.
Qualifications
- B.sc chemistry
- Experience in poultry farm management and animal welfare
- Skills in staff management, coordination, and training
- Knowledge of biosecurity measures, health, and safety regulations
- Record-keeping and monitoring production capabilities
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, or related field is preferred
