As we continue to grow and expand our reach, we are looking for an innovative and strategic Podcast Coordinator to join our team and help take Podcast Malawi to new heights.

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly organized, business & detail-oriented, and passionate Podcast Coordinator to manage every aspect of our podcast business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, media production, marketing, and event planning, along with a deep understanding of the regional and global podcasting landscape. This role will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, managing community activities, driving growth and innovation, and ensuring the continued success of Podcast Malawi.

 

Key Responsibilities

1. Scheduling and coordinating interviews, studio sessions, and other events related to podcast production.
2. Developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote the podcast, increase audience engagement, identify key leads, and grow the business.
3. Managing relationships with key stakeholders, including sponsors, partners, and industry experts.
4. Creating and submitting proposals for sponsorships, closing deals, ensuring effective collaborations, and constantly exploring partnership opportunities.
5. Planning and organizing events, such as live podcast recordings, workshops, and networking sessions.
6. Managing and engaging with the Podcast Malawi community via social media platforms and other online channels.
7. Continuously exploring new opportunities and strategies for innovation and growth within the podcast industry.
8. Monitoring and reporting on key performance metrics to track the success and growth of the podcast.

 

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in project management, proposal development, marketing, and event planning.
3. In-depth knowledge of the podcasting industry and best practices for audience engagement and growth.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
5. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
6. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
7. A deep understanding of social media platforms and trends.
8. A passion for podcasting and a desire to make a positive impact on the Podcast Malawi community.
