Opportunities have arisen for suitably qualified and experienced individuals to fill the following vacant positions tenable in various Sunbird Hotels, across the country.
PLUMBER
Duties and Responsibilities
- Attending to trouble reports on plumbing system in the hotel.
- Repairing and replacing all pipes.
- Cleansing grease taps, drainages and kitchen extraction hood.
- Checking and repairing all plumbing accessories as and when required.
- Checking functionality of water tanks and boilers.
- Servicing water pumps/motors in the boiler rooms, fish pond, laundry equipment and swimming pool regularly.
- Any other duties assigned from time to time.
Knowledge, skills, competences and attributes desired:
- Grade 3 National Trade Test Certificate in Plumbing.
- A full Malawi School Certificate of Education.
- 3 years’ relevant experience in Plumbing, preferably in a hotel setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Timekeeper, punctual and trustworthy character.
- Profound technical services proficiency.
