The Ministry of Education is inviting applications from suitable candidates to fill the vacant positions, existing within the Ministry’s Establishment. Details of the post are as follows:
POSITION: Plumber (Grade M)
LOCATION: Domasi College of Education
SALARY: Within the Government Grade M Salary scale Segment
Qualifications:
– Should be a holder of a Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE)
– Applicants should have a certificate in Plumbing obtained from recognized
institution.
-Should not be more than 40 years of age.
Responsibilities And Duties
The successful candidate will be reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor for the
institution and will carry out the following duties:
-Maintaining water pipes and septic tanks blockages
-Reporting to Management on plumbing material requirements
-Maintaining geysers in staff houses
-Maintaining toilets, taps, cisterns, etc., for the college
-Installing, modifying, maintenance, and repair of plumbing fixtures for drainage and water systems.
-And any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the supervisor
