VACANCY

Holy Family Mission Hospital (HFMH) is under Christian Health Association of Malawi (CHAM) under the Archdiocese of Blantyre of the Roman Catholic Church. It is situated in Phalombe district. Applications from suitably qualified persons to fill the vacant positions below are being invited:

 

Job Title: Pharmacy Technician

Reporting to: Senior Pharmacy Technician

Duties

1. Check stocks and make orders from the bulk store;
2. Pre-pack drugs ready for dispensing;
3. Receive prescription to check the dosage;
4. Ensue correct drugs to regain main pharmacy stores and wards;
5. Manage pharmaceutical supplies for hospital wards and department;
6. Control and supervise junior staff in the Pharmacy Department.
7. Manage ordering, inspection, storage and compounding/manufacturing of drugs;
8. Procedure reports on drugs received and dispensed.

 

Educational Qualification

Applicants must be in possession of a diploma in Pharmacy obtained from a recognized University/institution.

 

Experience

Four (4) years relevant experience at Pharmacy Technician level.
