Overview
POSITION: PHARMACY ASSISTANT
Albarakah Charity Trust is inviting applications from suitably qualified individuals to fill the position of Pharmacy Assistant at its Mama Khadija Clinic in Namwera, Mangochi.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Pre-packaging drugs ready for dispensing;
Receiving prescriptions from out and in-patient and checking dosage and prescription particulars
Issuing required medicine to patients and giving instructions on how to use and store
Ensure correct drug storage’
Monitor drugs using EHNI tools and guidelines and report to the designated authorities
Checking drug stocks and making orders
Management of pharmaceuticals appliances for clinic wards for the departments;
Any other duties deemed reasonable for the post.
Education Qualification
Certificate in Pharmacy
Registered with the Pharmacy, Medicines and Regulatory Authority
At least two years of work experience
Trustworthy, hardworking and able to work under minimum supervision.
