What This Position Is About – Purpose:

The main purpose of the role is to contribute to the execution of the People & Culture Strategy and key priorities to the business and partners closely with the Functional Directors, Line Managers, employees and other People & Culture specialists to identify relevant solutions in driving the business strategy. The role manages the implementation of Global/HQ, Country and Business function People & Culture requirements and initiatives to ensure effective and efficient service delivery.

What Will You Do – Responsibilities:

  • Business and People & Culture Strategy:  Partnering business leaders and other departmental specialists to develop and implement a people and culture  strategy to enable the business achieve its objectives.
  • Talent Management: Adapt, enhance, implement and execute global talent management processes to ensure that current and future talent management needs are met to enable local business requirements.
  • Business Partnering:  Build strong internal business partnerships at all levels, in order to provide guidance and tools to management and employees in fostering people-centric delivery of services.
  • Employee Engagement: Develop and implement strategies and programs to promote employee engagement and participation and improve JTI employee experience.
  • Employee wellbeing: Enable employee wellbeing initiatives.

Who Are We Looking For – Requirements:

  • Bachelors  Degree in Human Resource Management/Business Administration or Relevant Degree.
  • Experience in a similar role of at least 3 years.
  • Undeniable generalist and specialist experience in People & Culture in a fast paced and dynamic environment, across the spectrum of people management.
  • Ability to operate on and engage at various levels within the business.
  • Flexibility and engagement, while delivering on key multiple objectives.
  • Excellent change and project management skills.
  • Good knowledge of employment law, policy development, coaching and advising.
  • Excellent social and communication skills.
  • Good problem-solving mindset and results-driven.
