Farming and Engineering Services Limited (FES), a leading supplier and operator of premium brand products including Massey Ferguson and Challenger tractors, Komatsu machinery, Trimble GPS equipment, and Baldan farm implements has immediate vacancies for the following posts at Blantyre and Lilongwe Offices :
PARTS COUNTER SALESPERSON – LILONGWE OFFICE
Reporting to the Parts Manager, the Parts Counter Salesperson will be responsible for maintaining good relationships with customers.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure the parts stock is well stacked and labelled in stores for easy accessibility.
- Ensure all parts counter and stores area is kept clean and tidy.
- Monitor inventory and internal orders placed.
- Checking in and out going spare parts.
- Acting on behalf of the Parts Manager in their absence.
- Monitoring stock levels and reporting to Parts Manager.
- Ensure optimal level of customer satisfaction.
- Ensure all walk-in customers are well served.
- Issue quotations to customers and follow them up.
- Invoicing customer orders.
- Ensure parts do not leave sales counter without invoice.
- Receive complaints and problems and report to the Parts Manager
- Ensure company property is put to good use to maximise profits
- Provides technical assistance to parts department employees.
Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of 5 years relevant work experience.
- Minimum of Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) from a recognized institution
- Diploma in Business Management, or Procurement, or related qualification from a recognised institution
- Good computer knowledge and skills
