FinanceRite Limited, a duly registered financial institution, is planning to roll out its operations providing credit solutions to Malawians who need financial support for their businesses and those who would like to meet various financial needs.

The Company is inviting applications from suitably qualified Malawians to fill the position below. 

Operations Manager: 1 Position

Job Summary:
The Operations Manager is responsible for managing operational efficiency and profitability of the company by achieving operations and strategic goals. The Operations Manager will ensure that all policies and standard operating procedures are adhered to.

Duties and Responsibilities

    • Manages sales and marketing process through effective marketing of products;
    • Manages growth and quality of loan portfolio;
    • Ensures loans disbursed are in compliance with FinanceRite’s lending procedures, policies and methodology;
    • Analyzes the business environment and recommends development of new products and enhancement to existing products;
    • Ensures compliance to all legal and regulatory requirements;
    • Ensures efficiency and effectiveness of operational management systems and processes;
    • Ensures that clients’ complaints are effectively resolved;
    • Leads in preparation and review of annual and quarterly plans and budgets;
    • Develops business relationship with potential and existing customers;
    • Verifies and approves loans and ensures adherence to quality standards;
    • Trains and coaches subordinates;
    • Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance or related field;
    • Five years previous work experience in business development in a financial institution;
    • Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management;
    • Ability to work in a competitive and challenging environment;
    • Proven experience in leadership;
    • High level of integrity;
    • Holds a valid driver’s license.
