Job Description:
Freedom Financial Services is seeking an experienced and qualified individual for the position of Operations Manager. The Operations Manager will be responsible for leading and directing operational activities across the organization, focusing on strategic planning, daily operations, customer satisfaction, staff management, and business development. The role involves policy formulation, product development, client protection, and ensuring the achievement of agreed profitability levels.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing strategic goals and operational strategies.
• Overseeing daily branch operations, credit controls, and business development.
• Supervising departmental staff and coordinating coverage.
• Enhancing customer satisfaction through effective support processes.
• Identifying and mitigating operational risks.
• Ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Monitoring KPIs and driving operational excellence.
• Mentoring and developing operations team members.
• Representing the company at industry events and forums.

Qualification & Experience Required:

• Minimum of an Advanced Diploma in Business Studies, Economics, or Accounting/Finance.
• At least 5 years of work experience in a lending environment such as microfinance or banking.
• Experience in private company payroll lending, SME lending, and Government Payroll lending is an added advantage.
• Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards.
