Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the newly created position of:
NURSE MIDWIFE TECHNICIAN
Mulanje Mission Hospital is looking to engage a dynamic and self-starting person to take up the position of Nurse Midwife Technician with strong Christian and professional values.
Reporting to the Nursing Officer, the Nurse Midwife Technician will be responsible for:
- Conduct patient assessment, plan patient care, monitoring and evaluation
- Build therauputic relationships with patient
- Carryout various nursing procedures
- Drug administration
- Health education to patients and guardians (providing information/counselling/health talks)
- Providing pre- & post operative care
- Participate in ward rounds
Qualifications and personal attributes
- Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery obtained from a recognized training institution.
- Registered with Nurse Midwife Council of Malawi
- Minimum of 2 years working experience in a busy setting
- Highly motivated team player
