VACANCY

Holy Family Mission Hospital (HFMH) is under Christian Health Association of Malawi (CHAM) under the Archdiocese of Blantyre of the Roman Catholic Church. It is situated in Phalombe district. Applications from suitably qualified persons to fill the vacant positions below are being invited:

Job Title: NURSE MIDWIFE TECHNICIAN

Duties:

1. Provide quality nursing care using the nursing/midwifery process;
2. Perform activities of daily living for the patient’s 24hours/day;
3. Observe patients’ condition and progress;
4. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patient cares;
5. Use appropriate common skills during nursing care;
6. Administer medication and treatment to patients and clients;
7. Assisting the rehabilitation of patients through application of principles of prevention of deformities, range of motion exercise and body alignment;
8. Adhere to continuous professional development;
9. Document and maintain accurate records of all nursing care activities performed;
10. Building therapeutic relationship with patients, guardians and fellow health workers

Educational Qualifications

Applicants must be in possession of a diploma in Nursing and Midwifery obtained from a recognized University/Institution, and be a registered member of the Nurses and Midwives Council of Malawi.
