Dwangwa Cane Growers Limited (DCGL) operates in the agri-business sector by providing agricultural
management services to smallholder sugarcane growers. Its area of operation is Dwangwa, 60 km north of Nkhotakota Boma.
The company would like to engage a suitable and eligible individual to fill the following vacant position at DCGL Clinic.
NURSE MIDWIFE TECHNICIAN
JOB PURPOSE
To promote and restore patients’ health through the provision of quality nursing care.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide comprehensive nursing care
- Provide family planning support to clients.
- Provide integrated HIV/Aids management.
- Assess and plan nursing care requirements
- Monitor and administer medication and intravenous infusions.
- Prepare patients for examinations and perform routine diagnostic checks (monitor pulse,
blood pressure, and temperature, provide drugs and injections, etc.). - Ensure proper maintenance of records.
- Follow care regulations and standards.
- Any other duties as assigned from time to time.
REQUIREMENTS
- At least a diploma in nursing & midwifery from a recognized institution.
- Registered with the Nurses and Midwives Council of Malawi.
- ART providers will have an added advantage.
- At least two years working experience in a hospital or clinic.
- Compassionate with good communication skills.
