Central Medical Stores Trust (CMST)
The Central Medical Stores Trust (CMST) is responsible for procurement, warehousing, sales and distribution of quality medicines and medical supplies to all public health facilities in Malawi. To effectively meet its mandate, the CMST seeks to fill vacant positions, with persons with strong proven passion for good corporate governance, a high measure of tested financial and moral integrity and free from past convictions by a court of law of criminal offences as follows:
JOB TITLE: NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR
GRADE: MS5
REPORTING TO : ICT MANAGER (MS3)
LOCATION: HEAD OFFICE-LILONGWE
OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Ensuring effective and efficient running of all ICT networks.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Managing LAN/WAN and hardware installation;
• Routing for the WAN and management of routing devices;
• Installing and managing Wi-Fi;
Wireless devices installation and management;
• Managing biometric and CCTV circuits, cables and performance;
• Managing electrical installation power ratings;
Developing network related scripts to help in backup of data, and dynamic configuration of software on the network in liaison with system administration;
Installing and configuring small scale LAN cabling and tracking;
Managing modern PABXes.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences or ICT related obtained from a recognised and reputable institution.
Experience and Skills:
Three years of progressive experience in a similar position in a busy environment.
