About the role

To strengthen Monitoring and Evaluation system to allow for effective and accurate reporting for decision making and project implementation. To promote effective and efficient monitoring and evaluation of programme activities, centred on impact and outcomes; create conditions so that learning is fed into programme decision-making. To contribute towards building the Malawi Country Office and partner’s capacity to develop and use participatory approaches to monitoring and evaluation for effective project implementation for results. To support on monitoring, impact evaluation, knowledge management and donor reporting processes. To facilitate sharing of best practice and lessons learnt with external stakeholders as appropriate as possible. Developing and providing reference materials and quality information across the programme. Encourage active knowledge management and organizational learning needs using Monitoring and Evaluation findings. To support the roll out the implementation and institutionalization of the M&E system and data quality assurance protocol with all implementing partners. Expected to support partners & the team to institute effective systems of tracking results for their work, and build evidence for advocacy and for developing new projects using documented best practice.

About you

We are seeking to recruit a dynamic professional to be responsible for supporting the team in developing and managing an evidence-based programme to inform the programme’s decision and reporting in Christian Aid. To provide support to the programme and implementing partners and do monitoring, impact evaluation, knowledge management and the donor reporting process and provide compliance support to the programme.
