Candlex Limited is a locally registered company and a leading manufacturer and marketer of home and personal care products. Candlex limited is inviting suitably qualified, highly motivated, and experienced person to fill the position of Merchandiser.
Responsibilities
- Serves customers by selling products and meeting customer’s needs
- Services existing accounts, obtains order, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors
- Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers.
- Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs.
- Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
- Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
- Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports
- Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and service
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing / Sales or Business-related field with a minimum of 2 years’ experience or Diploma in Marketing or any business related field with at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- At least 2 years’ experience selling FMCG will be an added advantage Advanced MS Office skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
