Good Hope Private Clinics invite applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the positions of Medical Officer (4 posts).

POST: MEDICAL OFFICER

1. REQUIREMENTS

1. ESSENTIAL

Candidates Must;

1. Possess MBBS or its equivalent qualification
2. Have completed internship successfully
3. Be registered with Medical Council of Malawi and have valid licence to practice
4. Have private practice license or be willing to have one

2. DESIRABLE

1. A minimum of 2 years of clinical practice post internship
2. Private practice experience

2. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• • Attending to outpatients and managing all emergencies in casualty
  • Working up and referring patients to specialist clinics
  • Conducting ward-rounds
  • Participating in infection prevention programs
  • Participating in quality improvement projects and departmental audits
  • Participating in continuous professional development activities
  • Performing minor surgical procedures
  • Assisting in major surgical procedures
  • Referring patients to external facilities whenever necessary
  • Any other duties allocated by the seniors
