An opportunity has risen for highly motivated, competent and result oriented individuals to fill vacant positions as Retail Sales Officer, Customer Service Assistant and Claims Assessor based in Blantyre, Lilongwe and Mzuzu.

MEDICAL CLAIMS ASSESSOR – BASED IN LILONGWE

 

Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Claims assessment – strict application of approved fund rules
  2. Healthcare provider network creation and management
  3. Continuous review and application of fund rules
  4. Support to the system technical team from the business side
  5. Supervision of the claims department team
  6. Claims analytics and reporting
  7. Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time

 

Qualifications:

  1. A minimum of Diploma in General Nursing or equivalent
  2. Higher qualifications in the healthcare delivery field will be an added advantage

 

Skills, Attributes and Experience:

  1. At least 3 years’ hands on experience in general nursing services in a recognised healthcare delivery facility
  2. Experience working in Medical Insurance in a claims department role will be an added advantage
  3. Strict attention to detail
  4. Negotiation skills
  5. Open minded and willing to learn
