Role Description

This is an Internship role for a Mechanical Technician based on-site in Namadzi, Zomba. The Mechanical Technician will be responsible for equipment maintenance, preventive maintenance tasks, troubleshooting machinery issues, and performing maintenance and repair duties at the Namadzi Bottlers factory. The role involves hands-on work with the production machinery and ensuring smooth operation of the bottling processes.

Candidates who are in process of completing their degree/those who have recently graduated within the last year are encouraged to apply. Please note this an Internship role.

Qualifications

• Equipment Maintenance and Troubleshooting skills
• Experience in Preventive Maintenance and Repair tasks
• Knowledge of general maintenance practices
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Technical diploma or certification in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Understanding of industrial equipment and machinery
