Salima Sugar Company Limited (SSCL) is a limited liability Company incorporated in Malawi under the Companies Act with postal address P.O. Box 200, Lilongwe and Head Office at Matundu Mbulo Office Complex in Lilongwe.

SSCL is a subsidiary of Greenbelt Investments Holdings Limited.The Company’s business is
development of sugar plantations, production of sugar and its by-products for the Malawi and export markets.

The Company is now looking for dynamic and well versed individuals to fill the following positions:

Job Title: Marketing Manager

Job Location: Lilongwe, Malawi
Reporting to: Commercial Director

Job Purpose, Roles and Responsibilities

The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to promote a company’s brand and products, increasing sales and brand awareness, and managing marketing
budgets and resources. He or she analyze market trends, gather customer insights, and create marketing campaigns, including advertising and promotional materials.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

The following are the key duties and responsibilities:

• Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement marketing strategies aligned with company goals.
• Campaign Development: Create and oversee marketing campaigns, including advertising, promotions, and content marketing.
• Market Research: Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities.
• Budget Management: Manage marketing budgets, track expenses, and ensure ROI.
• Team Leadership: Lead and manage the marketing team, providing guidance, support, and training.
• Performance Tracking and Reporting: Monitor marketing campaign performance, analyze data, and generate reports on key metrics.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, and public relations.
• Brand Management: Maintain and enhance brand image and reputation.
• Customer Engagement: Develop and implement strategies to engage with customers and build relationships.

Academic and Professional Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Marketing Management from accredited Universities with minimum of 5 (five) years of work experience in a similar position.
