Job Overview:
We are seeking a trustworthy and hardworking individual to fill up a post of Marketing & Administrator. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with an interest in the tuition sector and its growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Learn about issues facing the tuition sector to assist members as well as to enable them to support other employees, contractors and/or suppliers to support members.
  • Respond to queries from members, the general public, the press and other stakeholders.
  • Respond to or contact prospective members to sell organisations membership.
  • Respond to or contact prospective sponsors for events.
  • Process DBS applications in line with relevant policies and guidance, using a specified designated DBS application service.
  • Manage and operate internal systems as instructed and in line with guidance (as amended from time to time) including membership systems, financial/bookkeeping systems, safeguarding systems, training/CPD systems and any other relevant systems.
  • Continue to grow organisations database of Uk and international tutors and companies that support or provide tutoring
  • Assist with the organisation and running of events, where necessary
  • Assist with other reasonable tasks within the association as required.

 

Key skills & Qualifications:

  • Good technical knowledge and experience using GSuite.
  • Awareness of how to set up and manage technical integrations.
  • Good organisation and customer service skills.
  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • The ability to prioritise workload appropriately and work independently when given appropriate guidance and training.
  • An interest in the tuition sector and its growth and success.
  • Trustworthy and hardworking.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or its equivalent
  • At least 2 years experience in a similar role

Candidates with the below will have added advantage:

  • Knowledge or experience of web design/website management and/or digital strategy and social media.
  • Knowledge or experience of public relations.
  • Knowledge or experience of political lobbying.
  • Experience working in or for a tuition company.
  • Experience working in or for a membership association or professional body of some kind.
