Job Title: Marketer
Reports to: Head of marketing
Location: Lilongwe
Job Summary:
We’re seeking a highly skilled and motivated Marketer to join our team. As a Marketer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to reach new customers, build brand awareness, and drive business growth.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute marketing strategies: Create and implement marketing plans, campaigns, and tactics to achieve business objectives.
2. Conduct market research: Gather and analyze data to understand customer needs, preferences, and behavior.
3. Build brand awareness: Develop and maintain a strong brand identity across all marketing channels.
4. Create engaging content: Develop and distribute high-quality, engaging content across various marketing channels.
5. Manage social media: Develop and implement social media strategies to build brand awareness and engage with customers.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with sales, product, and customer service teams to align marketing strategies with business objectives.
7. Measure and report performance: Track and analyze marketing metrics to measure campaign effectiveness and provide insights for future improvements.
Qualifications:
1. Certificate or Diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
2. Must be resident in Lilongwe, Malawi.
Skills and Competencies:
1. Strong marketing knowledge: Understanding of marketing principles, strategies, and tactics.
2. Excellent communication skills: Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
3. Creative problem-solving: Ability to think creatively and develop innovative marketing solutions.
4. Data analysis skills: Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret marketing data.
