About the Role
We are looking for a professional with 2+ years of work experience in HR roles, focusing on employee procedures, onboarding, overseeing disciplinary processes, and HR administration. You will report to the Malawi Human Resources Lead.


  • Coordinate with hiring managers and teams through creation of onboarding activity plans that detail all key activities and stakeholders in the induction process.
  • Conduct employee-related investigations as directed by One Acre Fund leadership while handling sensitive employee data or reports in a discreet manner.
  • Ensure that all employees regardless of location have an active contract that is filed correctly and easily retrieved.

  • Employee HRIS system, physical employee files and support staff and departments in creating employment, transfer and promotion letters.
  • Enhance staff experience through establishment of HR communication with the staff through feedback channels.

Across all roles, these are the general qualifications we look for. For this role specifically, you will have:

  • 2+ years of experience in Human Resource Management.
  • Experience in writing disciplinary management reports.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field in Human Resource Management.
  • Excellent skills in using Microsoft and Google Suite Apps
  • Experience in handling industrial cases will be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of Malawi  Employment and Labor laws.
  • Team player with people management attributes.
