MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE

Post : Maintenance Officer (Grade K)
Salary : Within the Grade K salary scale segment
Location : Department of Agriculture Extension Services
Qualifications:
Applicants must be in possession of a Diploma in Electronics
Duties:
- Cleaning workshop and test equipment;
- Making regular checks of harness and junctions;
- Making regular checks on safety sensors and replace faulty Printer Circuit Boards (P.C.B.s);
- Checking and adjusting plays of tapes tensions of Video Cassette Recorders (VCR’s);
- Cleaning, replacing and adjusting heads of azimuth of VCR’s;
- Participate in training of users of plant and equipment;
- Compiling list of required materials and spare parts;
- Preparing and submitting reports;
- Operating public address system;
- Testing equipment on arrival and reporting faults to the Agricultural Communication Officer; and
- Performing any other duties as may be assigned.
Note:
Documentary evidence of major requirements specified in the advertisement shall be required during interviews. Serving officers will also be required to demonstrate during the interviews
that they are permanent and pensionable officers in the Civil Service by producing letters of confirmation in appointment in addition to letters of condition of appointment on probation (PSR 19).
