Casino Marina is seeking; we are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Officer to join our team. He will be responsible for managing all aspects of the maintenance and electrical.
Key Responsibilities:
- Services electrical equipment as per preventative maintenance schedule.
- Inspects electrical equipment in all areas to identify and rectify faults.
- Attends to trouble reports on electrical equipment.
- Tests the generator to ensure that it is in good working condition.
- Monitors energy consumption.
- Participate in monthly stock taking exercise.
- Trains user departments on how to operate electrical equipment effectively.
- Inspects fire and safety equipment to ensure that it is operating efficiently.
Knowledge, skills, competences and attributes desired:
- Certificate in Electrical engineering from a well-recognized institution.
- A full Malawi School Certificate of Education with credits in English and Mathematics.
- 2 years’ experience in a related capacity.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Customer service skills.
- Positive attitude.
- Able to work odd hours.
