Lowbed Truck Driver at Tcgt Properties

1.      Introduction:

TCGT Properties is a Malawian company that is wholly owned and registered under the Business Registration Act (No.12of2012). It was established in the year 2018 with the intent of selling plots, renting construction equipment, manufacturing Hollow Cement Blocks, mining, and managing properties.

TCGT Properties seeks to fill the open position of Lowbed Driver to support the upward  trajectory of the company.

2.      Role Description:

Title: Lowbed Driver

Location: Lilongwe, Malawi

Reports To:  Production and Operations Manager

3.    Responsibilities

•   Transport large construction equipment and materials to assigned job sites.
•  Conduct daily pre/post trip inspections on the assigned vehicle.
•   Report any vehicle issues to the company immediately.
•   Communicate problems with traffic or site conditions promptly.
• Comply with truck maintenance and cleanliness guidelines.
• Perform other job-related duties as required or assigned.
•  Ability to work independently.
•  Skilled in loading and off-loading heavy equipment.
•   Ability to read maps and follow directions.
•  Responsible for ensuring vehicle safety, maintaining logs, and complying with all driving regulations while delivering equipment efficiently and safely.

4.      Required skills and qualifications

•   Junior Certificate of Education or above
•  Must be able to write and read English
•  Driver’s license code CE with category PGD
•  Willing to work in shifts, during weekends and public holidays
•  A minimum of 3 (three) years hands-on working experience in heavy goods Ability to give and receive written or oral instructions.
