The Role

 

Oxfam in Malawi is currently working to support the people affected by the cyclone Freddy floods in Mangochi districts.  We are looking for results-oriented Malawian for the position of Logistics Assistant position to be based in Mangochi to support the humanitarian response for a period up to October 2023 subject to extension depending on continuity of the program and availability of resources.  The successful candidates will work with the Logistics Team to support Oxfam’s in terms of Supply chain & Logistics work ensuring to support humanitarian response in Mangochi. Efficient and cost-effective way of management of the support team. The other purpose of this role is to perform a varied range of tasks to deliver an efficient cost-effective and quality service.in conjunction within the team and across teams.

 

Applicants should have a Diploma in Supply Management or its equivalent as well 2 years of practical experience in Purchasing & Supply with good communication, training and personal management skills.
