JOB OPPORTUNITY
Applications are invited from suitably qualified men and women to fill vacant posts tenable at Fraire
Lodge BNB located at Kamuzu Road, Salima.
1. LODGE SUPERVISOR
Who will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our lodge to ensure guest
expectations are exceeded and a consistently high standard of customer service and cleanliness is
maintained and will be reporting directly to the Lodge Manager.
A. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
I. Lead, supervise, co-ordinate and monitor all service staff
II. Assign and review the work of all staff
III. Lead, train and coach new staff in job duties, safety procedures and lodge policies
IV. Create shift schedules and co-ordinate activities with other departments
V. Greet and welcome guests, provide lodge orientation
VI. Evaluate performance of staff and provide feedback to manager
VII. Resolve customer complaints and other work-related problems
VIII. Assist the Lodge Manager with planning and inventory control
IX. Ensure smooth operation of the lodge
X. Receiving and managing reservations
XI. Other duties as assigned
B. REQUIREMENTS
1. Certificate or Diploma in Hospitality and Tourism or its equivalent.
2. Minimum work experience of 2 years in Hospitality industry
3. Strong written and verbal skills
4. Well-presented and professional appearance
5. Excellent customer service skills
6. Must be willing to work flexible hours
7. Computer literate
8. Must have full knowledge on food and beverage
9. Must have some experience in supervising or managing staff
10. Must be able to work under minimum supervision
11. Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
12. Excellent problem solving, decision making, job task planning and organizing
13. A good team leader and team player.
14. A well-organized, neat, and punctual individual who pays close attention to detail.

DURATION: 6 MONTHS INTERNSHIP WITH A POSSIBLITY OF A PERMANENT JOB
